Ghana 1957-58. QE II INDEPENDENCE / OVERPRINTS / COILS SG171(c) . Gold Coast 1d value (depicting CHRISTIANSBORG CASTLE) overprinted GHAHA INDEPENDENCE in vertical coil strip of 12 with 1 COIL JOIN. Note: These coils were made up from normal sheets and joins occurred every 12th stamp. They are not catalogued & are only mentioned by SG in a footnote, but coil joins are highly sought after by specialist collectors, the strip is suitably folded away from the join for display & convenience, strip is MINT NEVER HINGED
